All the economic-meltdown stuff I've been talking about over the last few months seems to be bearing fruit as the American dollar and major stock markets plummet to new depths. If you're wondering why you should care, every time this happens in a capitalist system recession = lots of unemployment, low wages, high prices and general shittiness for the majority of the worlds population, including you and your lower-class friends.
And on an environmental note that is not dominated by the words GLOBAL and WARMING it appears a campus paper has written a kick ass aticle on the worlds Eighth Continent. Don't know what it is? I'll give you a couple of clues: It's twice the size of Texas, weighs 3.5 million tons and is expected to grow tenfold in ten years.
No idea? Its a gigantic patch of floating garbage.
