From Al-jazeera, this is an interesting piece on "brazen" new TV shows that are coming out during Ramadan, which starts on Thursday.
Ramadan is apparently the Muslim worlds equivalent of Sweeps month. A lot of people sitting around and not eating, drinking or working for the hot month, so TV ratings go through the roof and this years batch of new shows deal with subjects ranging from sex and rape to war and terrorism.
