Because most people never hear about it, the North West Territories are trying to play their cards right with the Harper-infatuation of protecting our "Northern sovereignty". Andrew Coyne was on the National saying he thought this was Harper's attempt to come across as a nationalist leader, but the NWT are apparently not letting him off the hook.
This includes demands for a North-South Arctic Ocean highway and revenue/resource sharing that will soon be enjoyed by Newfoundland.
