In my zest to catalog incidences of deception and information hiding, I came across this local gem courtesy of our lovely NPA counselors in their attempt to hide information and black-ball any counsel member who mentions sensitive information by having them "barred from in camera meetings, denied access to confidential documents, even hauled up in front of a judge and kicked off council".
Nevermind that most of these motions are probably illegal, specifically the one regarding kicking people off counsel, my favorite part of the story was when Capri (the NPA counselor) "claimed leaks were a "serious potential risk" to "police and other enforcement investigations." Cadman took apart her motion like a mechanic stripping down a faulty piece of equipment and noted council doesn't deal with those issues either in camera or in public. Then he demanded to know: Who leaked what?"
