Actually, the shunning of the new, non-violent palestinian government by Israel is good fodder for those who argue that the Israeli government was hoping Palestine would tear itself apart. Looks like the cooperative summit in Saudi Arabia worked.
But alas, the positive-spot for the day belongs to, none other than...Norway, for being one of the first countries from the West to recognize and restore diplomatic and financial ties with the new Palestinian government. The support comes with some strings though...I'm not liking this new Labour government too much.
