An excellent article in the Dominion today points out how it would be easy and pretty cheap to provide a safe and innovative way to filter water in the many first nations communities which lack it. "Such as the 88 First Nations communities under a drinking water advisory as of May 11."
Meanwhile, an excellent $18 million donation by Venezuela to Danny Glover to do a better marketed and more accessible movie than the one he did exposing how Republicans really did steal the 2004 election, should hit the government where it hurts most: on TV.
On that note, I'm wondering who will do better: the socialist senator in the US trying to bring about change within the system or anti-poverty activists trying make bad decisions effect those who make them on the outside of the system.
I do hope though, that this man does not go a long way.
